HEALTH OFFICE

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR: REV. FR. DANIEL NEYOH

The Catholic Health Service (CHS) of the Archdiocese of Cape Coast was established as a continuation of the healing ministry of Jesus Christ. It started in the 1950’s with the advent of Missionaries in Ghana.

Our goal is to provide and sustain health care services for the poor, neglected and marginalized segments of the society. The office seeks to empower the people it serves to take ownership of their own individual and collective health needs.

The vision of the Health Office is to continue Christ’s healing ministry in bringing healing to the greatest possible number of people in the provision of total quality patient care through healers with good ethical and moral standards; who are conscientious, professionally competent, well-motivated and united in their common respect for fundamental human values.

Our mission is “To provide high quality healthcare in the most effective, efficient and innovative manner; and specific to the needs of the communities we serve, while at all times acknowledging the dignity of the patient.
